Small-scale technology certificates (STCs) support eligible battery installations. The dollar discount depends on certificate entitlement and the value offered in your quote; it is not a fixed payment for every home.
From 1 May 2026, different portions of usable capacity receive different shares of the applicable STC factor.

These percentages apply to the certificate factor, not the purchase price. For installations from May to December 2026, the base factor is 6.8; subsequent installation periods have different factors.
Usually, you assign the STC rights to an installer or registered agent in return for a discount. Ask who will create the certificates and when the discount is applied. Eligible owners can also create and trade certificates through the REC Registry.

Households with gross annual income below $210,000 may be eligible. Meeting that threshold does not guarantee approval: Plenti assesses income, expenses and the ability to repay.
How Plenti assesses applications ↗The loan is a separate application for finance, not another discount. Loans range from $2,001 to $10,000 over three to ten years. Confirm eligible costs, repayments and late-payment fees before committing. WA scheme equipment and VPP requirements still apply.
WA loan and application information ↗Eligible Powerwall 3 and Powerwall 3 Expansion purchases receive $750 per unit, up to $1,500 per site, as a Virtual Visa reward rather than an upfront invoice discount.
Orders had to be placed through a Tesla Certified Installer from 6 November 2025 to 30 June 2026, with rebate registration completed by 30 June.
Installation, connection and registration must fall between 1 January and 31 December 2026. Submit the final rebate request through Tesla’s rebate portal by 31 December 2026.
WA scheme participation includes a Virtual Power Plant agreement. Understand the arrangement you are signing, alongside the equipment you are buying.

A useful quote connects the programme rules to your actual home. Look for these details before you proceed.
A manufacturer reward claimed later should remain separate from the upfront price. Keep the programme terms with your quote.
Divide the installed price after confirmed incentives by usable storage capacity to compare cost per usable kWh. Read this alongside output power in kW, warranty terms, backup reserve and VPP operating conditions. Capacity alone does not describe how much of the home a battery can power at once.

Eligible solar panels and batteries can each create STCs, but their entitlements are calculated differently. Solar PV calculations consider the system size, location and installation date. The battery calculation uses usable storage capacity and the applicable tiered factor.
