What is the Jinko solar panel warranty?

25 years product, 30 years performance. That is the cover on the Tiger Neo 475W all-black dual-glass module specified in this package, backed by our [installation guarantee](/guarantee) and the [manufacturer warranty document](/media/2025/10/Jinko-LIMITED-WARRANTY-REV.AU20240726-LINEAR-MONOFACIAL-MODULE.pdf). Jinko's wider range runs 12 to 25 years on the product depending on the model, so read the module name on your quote rather than the brand on the box.

How efficient are these panels?

23.77% for the 475W all-black module. Jinko's 2026 range sits between 22% and 24% depending on the model, and the figure above is from the [module datasheet](/media/2025/09/Jinko-450-475n-48hl4m-dv-z2-datasheet.pdf). Efficiency decides how much power fits on a given roof area. It does not change what a kilowatt produces once installed, so it matters most on a roof where space runs out before budget does.

Is Jinko a manufacturer worth buying?

Yes, though the reason is narrower than the badge suggests. Jinko is [BNEF Tier 1](/learn/tier-1-solar-panels) and one of the largest module manufacturers by volume. Tier 1 is a bankability rating: it means lenders will finance projects built with these panels. It is not a quality score, and it is often sold as one. What it does tell you is that the company standing behind a 30-year warranty is likely to still exist in 30 years.

Are Jinko panels suitable for Western Australian conditions?

Yes. They are tested for heat, humidity and salt mist. They also sit on the Clean Energy Council approved module list, which is a condition of claiming STCs in Australia. Roof orientation and shading will move your yield further than the choice between two Tier 1 modules will, which is why we design to the roof before we discuss the panel.

Why is there no inverter in the price?

Because the inverter decides more about the system than the panels do. This package covers the panels, racking, isolators and the installation. You nominate a Goodwe, Sungrow or Fronius inverter, or an all-in-one battery system, and that choice sets the AC output, the monitoring software you will actually use, and the inverter warranty. Site-specific work is quoted separately and itemised before you commit. See [additional installation costs](/additional-installation-costs).
