PSW Energy's 2025 Sigenergy Silver Certified Installer milestone

PSW Energy's Silver recognition was an earlier step in its Sigenergy relationship. When choosing a battery, ask for sizing based on your household use as well as checking installer credentials.

In this article

PSW Energy reached Sigenergy Silver Certified Installer in July 2025, and has since gone past it: Gold since January 2026, and the Sigenergy Excellent Installer Award in June 2026. This page is the record of the Silver step rather than the current position, and it is worth reading only for what the tiers actually mean.

Silver milestone and Gold status

  • Silver was Sigenergy’s third tier, reached in July 2025. It is no longer where PSW Energy sits.
  • The current position is Gold Installer, the highest non-exclusive partner tier, held since January 2026.
  • A manufacturer tier measures the relationship between an installer and a supplier: training completed, commissioning quality, how support cases are handled. It is a real signal and a narrow one.
  • It does not measure whether the battery is the right size for your house. Nothing a manufacturer certifies can know that.

Silver tier criteria

Sigenergy grades its installers by what the manufacturer can see from its own side: how many people at the company have completed the training, whether commissioning reports come back clean, how long a support case sits open, and how the systems behave once they are on a roof. Silver sat third. Gold sits above it, and Sigenergy reviews the rankings roughly every six months.

The original version of this page claimed PSW Energy was one of five Western Australian companies at Silver in one paragraph and one of four in another. Both numbers cannot be right and neither was sourced, so both have been removed rather than a guess kept. If the count mattered to you, Sigenergy publishes its own installer finder and that is the number worth trusting.

Manufacturer relationship and system sizing

A manufacturer tier reflects its experience of an installer's work and support record. That relationship matters when a firmware issue or warranty claim needs both companies involved.

A tier does not tell you whether the proposed battery matches your evening use. Ask how the installer calculated that load. A round figure without supporting data needs an explanation, regardless of the tier on the quote.

Subsequent Gold status and award

Sigenergy moved PSW Energy to Gold in January 2026, and in June 2026 gave the Western Australian team its Excellent Installer Award at the global partner gala in Shanghai — one of ten worldwide. Both of those are better evidence than this page is, and both are more current.

If you are weighing up a Sigenergy system, the tier is the smallest part of the decision. The battery range we currently fit is in the battery range, and if you want a size worked out against your own bill rather than a state average, ask for a written price.

Record: Sigenergy Silver Certified Installer, July 2025. Superseded by Gold Installer status in January 2026.
