PSW Explains

Fronius warranty registration and local support

Ask your Fronius installer to confirm warranty registration and monitoring setup at commissioning, including who will handle service requests afterwards.

Fronius Solutions Partner (FSP) PSW Energy
In this article

Fronius Solutions Partner is the certification Fronius gives installers and re-checks every year. Fronius certified us in 2020. The badge itself matters less than the thing it stands in for: whether the company that put your inverter on the wall will still answer the phone in year eight.

In short

  • The program is still running in 2026 under the same name in Australia. Europe calls it Fronius System Partner; same thing.
  • Partners are reassessed every year on warranty registrations, monitoring registrations and training on the current models, and they buy stock through Fronius's authorised distributors.
  • The GEN24 Plus family is in our current range: Primo for single-phase homes, Symo for three-phase.
  • For inverters commissioned from 1 June 2026, the full 10-year Fronius warranty hangs on one step: registering the unit on Solar.web. We do that at commissioning.

Partner requirements

Partners must register systems for warranty and monitoring, keep staff trained as models change, and source inverters through authorised distributors.

Warranty registration and local support

Some callers need help because their original installer has stopped trading.

An orphaned system still has a Fronius warranty, but nobody local who knows the site, and often an inverter that was never registered on Solar.web. We register it as part of commissioning, and Fronius support afterwards runs through PSW Life Support rather than a call centre queue.

The Fronius range

The current Fronius line here is the GEN24 Plus, built in Austria: Primo on single phase, Symo on three. Both are hybrids, so a battery can come now or later; the timing changes the design, not the brand. If you are weighing that choice, the hybrid and hybrid-ready explainer covers it.

One honest note. Fronius is not the cheapest inverter in the range, and for some homes the cheaper option is the right call. What Fronius earns its price on is service history and parts availability, not spec-sheet numbers. If you want it priced against the alternatives for your place, ask for a written quote and say whether a battery is on the cards.
